Morning everyone!
I have changed the name of the blog to better reflect on how I am these day and what I choose to write about.
As we descend into the holiday season, let us not lose sight of kindness to all in the hustle and bustle of shopping for trinkets for others that they may not use/want.
I just had retinal detachment surgey on Thursday evening and that took all our reserves for anything looking like an xmas for us. The deductible was not met and they wanted over 2000 to give me this surgery to save my vision.
I am now at home recovering. between eye drops, eye patches and pain, i sit here on the couch writing to you.
It strains my eyes to even crochet, so I am unable to work on blankets I just started.
So Christmas gifts from the Parish's will either be candles, chow chow or something I crocheted this year.
I am going to miss a week of work without pay and this has me worried very much. David says we will get through it somehow.
