Tax Day Part 2

Yes, for the first time that I can remember, the IRS filing deadine for individuals was extended one day due to computer issues. It seems that everyone filing at the last minute crashed the site.

That made for another day of tax filing, frantic phone calls and just complete accounting weirdness in my world.

Thankfully, things got accomplished and we are almost done with this day.

Check on those you care about, you never know who is hurting and not saying a word. They may not know you care.

Years ago when I worked for THDA and having a horrible day with a boss I call the dragon lady, I was on the verge of tears in the copy room and a co-worker that I barely knew handed me a comic with a bird trying to eat a frog and the frog had his arms around the birds neck. The caption was Never Give Up. It made me laugh, she made me a copy and we both went about our day. This co-worker never knew how much she helped me and reminded me to keep going no matter what.
