Thankful during uncertain times

I was let go from my job at the CPA office last week.
I cannot go into details, but I know God is not surprised by this and that He has a plan.

I am thankful to be delivered from that position for many reasons.

I had an interview last Friday that I believe went really well. Now I am waiting to hear from that position as well as applying for others close to home.

I have said over and over that my dream job is to work at Hobby Lobby and gotten some strange looks. However, I am being honest because there is a part of me that really enjoyed my retail jobs I have held over the years.

For now I am working my candle business in overdrive and applying for jobs and praying that God shows me where I am supposed to go next.

We have thanksgiving planned for Thursday at a local restaurant and I am looking forward to the time with family as well as the wedding we are attending on Saturday.

We had our thanksgiving meal at Covenant Church on Saturday night and David attended with me! This was his first time meeting my Covenant family and they all welcomed him with open arms. Sunday we attended church together at Covenant and it was a great day to be with my church family.

Stay thankful no matter what the world is throwing at you. Yes I have my down moments, but I am doing pretty well and determined that this is only a temporary set back.
