Dates & Memories

Yesterday, I was starting my day on a Monday and not really thinking about too much internally since my work to-do list is always overflowing. I took a minute to look at facebook memories and I was floored and tears fell. You see 7-23-12 will always be the day I moved back to TN from GA. I consider it a reset day after trying all avenues to save my 2nd marriage.  Some years, I was travelling to or attending PartyLite Conference but in 2012 that day was moving day and my line in the sand against what I would not put up with anymore.

I am blessed in so many ways 6 years later and my eyes are open and my faith is stronger than it has been in over 20 years.

I am thankful for the memories and even facebook for reminding me how far this little girl from Tennessee has come since that time.

I have other reset days and I have days that I treasure because they signify new beginnings and love.

The days my children/grandchildren were born, the day I met my sweet David, the day I retired from State Government and many other days on the calendar. Some will trigger tears, some will trigger vivid memories and some will trigger dreams that I don't pick up on until later.

Don't let your memories define you. Choose to define yourself today and in the days ahead. Do something for others without telling them ahead of time. Send a care package to someone you know just to let them know you are thinking about them. Pray for others without telling them and watch God Work his miracles in their life and yours as well.

I am still seeking another job because I need a job that has insurance. If you know of anything local that is full time with benefits, please send me the link.

If you want to share your story or share a message through my blog, please let me know, I am happy to hear  your proposal.

Make today a great day.

If you see Julie Davis around Sparta, please tell her happy birthday!

As always, if you need help, call the hotline at 1-800-799-7233.
