Making ends meet

I know very few people that don't live paycheck to paycheck.
I cannot tell you how many people put me off when I ask them if they can order and they say, can I wait until payday to order. I understand this so much because most of my life I have lived this way.

Growing up, we would ask for stuff and there were many times that we had to wait for payday to get something or even save up for it.  Nothing wrong with this at all, just the way things are.

I joined direct sales companies over the years to have extra money to help on those in-between weeks.  PartyLite and Origami Owl are great because you get a weekly commission check based on what you sold the week before. Those extra checks do come in handy more times than you might think.

Never assume someone has money just because they have a job.  I know people who have office jobs that are paid via 1099 and only make 10 bucks an hour.  While this is money to pay bills that they appreciative, it is very difficult to save or make plans when you are just barely getting by.

The next time you think a car salesperson has money, know this, most of the time that sales person only earns $75 or $150 per vehicle sold. The dealership makes the most money. That sales person is on commission and stressed out most of the time because they don't know how they are going to pay their bills month to month.

Life is tough and life is a blessing all at once.  I had a few days last month where I was just sick and should have taken 2 days off and slept through both days.  I didn't, I went home early on Monday and planned on taking off all day Tuesday to get myself better. Well, things went a little crazy at the office so I went in sick on Tuesday and still got things done for the clients. My boss actually said thank you for coming in.  Wednesday I was still exhausted and not up to par, but I went to work anyway because my household needs my paycheck to be as high as possible.

I am thankful to have a job and a car to get to work, but I really need a job with insurance and decent pay. I started applying for jobs online in earnest again today. I applied for all kinds of things that I may not actually have thought of before.

I am asking, no begging for your prayers and suggestions for a job I should apply for. Please ask around and see if you know anyone who is hiring. I type 85 wpm and know most office programs. I am a fast learner and can run just about any office, if trained and given a fair chance.

Our family needs a miracle soon, we are just floundering right now and barely keeping our heads above water. You can help by ordering from my websites, praying for me to find a new job with insurance or any other miracle you can think of.

We both believe God will provide, but we also know that God cannot give you a job, if you have not applied for it.
