August has been filled with accomplishments, break-throughs, good reports from the doctors and loss.
I ask your prayers/condolences for the following families:
Martha Davis family - She lost her sister earlier this month and the services are this weekend.
Rico Ayala family - He lost his battle with cancer earlier this week. He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and Sunday School teacher. I am sure his wife and daughters are going to need lots of prayer and support in the coming months.
Laura Parish Williams (my sister in law) lost her mother in law on Tuesday. Mrs. Anna was going through chemo and having issues and had just started hospice. Her memorial service will be September 15 in Memphis. I am sure Rob (Anna's son) and the grandchildren (Todd, Jonathan and Eli) will miss her very much.
All of these people and their families need our prayers as they go through the grieving process.
I hate to even speak the word cancer because it causes fear in just saying the word itself. But we as humans have lost so many people to cancer of some type over the years. You are rare if you don't have a family or friend you have lost to cancer in 2018.
We have to live our best days while we have them. None of us knows when God will call us home.
Be Kind, Lend a helping hand and listen to your friends when they need a listening ear. Sometimes you just need to lean on a person and not a word needs to be said because that person knows you so well.
I am sending prayers out for all of you who read this little blog of mine.
Will you please help me grow it?
Will you share the posts on facebook or forward the email to your friends.
Check on your friends and family (near or far) and if they need help, call for them! 1-800-799-7233
