We all worry on some level about something or someone in our lives.
It could be an adult child who moved far across the country that miss and worry about;
It could be a family member who you know is sick but cannot afford medical attention;
It could be a friend you haven't seen in years but just found out their spouse passed away;
It could be about finances, job security or a million other things....
I could tell you all the verses in scripture that command us not to be anxious, the verses that tell us to trust God in all things (big and small) and that worry is against the almighty God. None of this will stop you from your worry habit.
I myself am a chronic worrier, very much like my Mama Mac was. I sit up at night crocheting and wonder/worry how my son is truly doing and how I can help him from here. I know I can not really help him but I know that I can pray for him and his family and for things to be resolved that are out of our hands.
Many of us disagree on educating our children. That should not be a point of argument in any family as long as the children are getting education through home school, virtual/online education or the more traditional brick and mortar schools.
Every child is different and they learn very differently, all of your fussing and worrying and being nosy in their business does NOT help the child, it hurts feelings and causes ill will within our families that are already so fractured and fragile.
Please do us all (as a society) a favor and when something occurs to you that makes you worry or be overly concerned, either call the person and inquire (you may or may not get an answer), or put it into prayer.
I guarantee our father in heaven can handle it all and praying about it is the best thing you can do for anyone. Say your prayers daily, or weekly or 5 times a day if you wish and do it with quiet strength - don't be haughty and go up to that person and tell them I have been praying for you (this causes unnecessary stress and strife).
I am constantly working on this in my own life and hope you receive the message as it was intended (a gentle nudge from a friend).
