My dear husband has taken a factory job and his current position he works day shift for about 6 weeks, then flips to night shift for about 6 weeks.
He has had to work hard to adjust to factory life/work/schedule and has given this job all he has got to offer. He is twice the age of most of his co-workers but working hard to learn and be a true part of the team. I am so proud of him for making this change for our family.
Getting a weekly paycheck with wages you truly earned and not worrying how you are going to pay your bills is definitely a positive change from his prior job where the paycheck was only a possibility.
God has blessed us as a family in many ways and we are thankful.
Life is a constant change and most of the time, there is no way we as humans can control the changes. We can fight change all we want, but accepting the changes, and committing to learning through the changes is the best way to be.
I love him no matter what job he has and I still worry about him and probably always will.
We take care of each other, do our best to listen to each other and we always seem to make each other smile and laugh along the way.
Be thankful for what you have, because it is probably a life someone else is praying for. You never realize how blessed you are until you look through someone else's viewpoint.
Pray daily and ask for wisdom! (this is what my friend Linda keeps telling me to do!)
Be a blessing and Be kind my friends.
