Adjustments, time and organization

Putting 2 families into one home for a season takes lots of patience and requires a lot of adjustment for all 7 of us.

We have different backgrounds, thoughts, attitudes and ways of doing things. None are wrong, but they are very different.

I pray every day for peace and communication to reign in this very full and busy house we all live in right now.

I do not always make the right decisions and I don't always communicate my thoughts or wishes very well. I am often overwhelmed trying to keep everyone happy.

I am thankful for dear mama friends that are willing to listen and guide me through this transition (aka Summer of 2019).

I am very proud of Megan for starting a new job in a few days (She is at orientation this afternoon).

Abby has decided that she wants to learn how to crochet so hopefully between Megan and myself we can teach her the basics and get her making something soon. Right now she is practicing chain stitches with bright pink yarn that she pulled out of my stash.

This muggy weather is not good for my asthma/COPD, so you will find me somewhere with air conditioning most days to keep the coughing at bay.

I have inventory currently available for sale for both of my direct sales businesses. Please inquire to me directly if you are looking for something I might have on hand.

We are also taking loads of things to the help center as we realize we don't need them and we organize more and more every few days.

I am learning to 'speak Kyson' and every few days he will let me hold him.

I will not push myself on the kiddos, it will take time for them to get used to me and that goes both ways. I love them all even in the midst of the chaos.

If you are in danger call 911, if you need a place to stay to get out of a bad/abusive relationship, please call 1-800-799-7233 for assistance and guidance to a shelter for you and your children.
