This week is a bit special for me.
For the first time in 9 years, I will get to tell my son face to face happy birthday and take him out for dinner.
There are not enough words in the world to convey how happy I am to have him and his family back in Tennessee.
And yes, the tempers flare, words are misspoken at times, but we all are trying to get along and share what we have to get through this transition.
I know it will all be worth it to have them settled here in Tennessee.
David made dinner last night and the kids ate pork roast and noodles and even asked for second helpings.
We as grandparents may not understand video games, but we understand kindness, and kind words and working together as a family.
Today we go back to our work schedules and pray for Megan's success in her training that began today.
Show love, in words and in deeds and it will usually get you pretty far in this mean, old world.
If you are in danger, please ask for assistance!
Call the Domestic Violence hotline at 1-800-799-7233 to talk to someone today!
