Friday Funnies

In spite of the depression I battle daily, I thought I would share some funny things that happened this week.

The level of humor or happiness you see in these stories may vary from person to person (disclaimer).

I have been petrified my boss was going to fire me or hire another person for me to train. Well, nope, he did something even crazier. He hired back my predecessor to help in the office and now I have to work with someone who worked here before. I find this very comical but at least I do NOT have to train her in the basics of office work. ***

A couple of nights ago, I did my walk through the house and saw my son playing video games and my grandson on his tablet just giggling and trying to tell his dad and me something about what he was doing. His little giggle was just adorable and I wish I had recorded it. *****

My husband and I went to the local Mexican place and the waiter knew half our order before we could even tell him. That is great customer service and really made me smile! ****

Two times this week, I thought about a friend and they ended up calling me. That made me smile and I call those times God Winks *****

Sunday I went to see Overcomer with Denise and we expected to cry because those movies really get to our emotions, but we also laughed a fair amount as well. So grab a friend and go see this movie! All the movies from the Kendrick Brothers have Bible lessons to share and you will be blessed by seeing the movie! *****

The boss's wife bought me a milk shake. This is a happy thing for me. I have not had a milkshake in years and this one is very yummy. Celebrate the gifts in your day! ***

My boss told me good job or thank you more than 3 times this week, YAY! *****

I am working really hard to see the positive in life no matter how difficult my current situation is.

Monday is the 9th of September. This will be my 2nd wedding anniversary to my dear David. We are going out for a special dinner on Sunday the 8th and I cannot wait to go out and celebrate our marriage and us as a couple.  Couple time has been hard to come by this summer so I am determined to celebrate as much as possible. *** *** ***

Celebrate your happy times, your happy moments and your winning moments.
Call a friend, call your folks, text another friend and be there for those that call upon you. We are all in this fight together. Women must hold each other up while we are here to do so.
