Routine

Routine can get us down no matter who we are.

Moms get aggravated at time with the mundane constant chores of cleaning up after their children's messes and at times feel unappreciated.

Whether your home has 2 or 10 people in it, we must all do laundry and it becomes very monotonous at times.

In Galatians 6:9, the scripture says we must not grow weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

This means to keep doing what we are doing and look towards the future in faith. We will reap what we are sowing if we keep going.

I was a single mom for over 11 years and it got very mundane at times but I did my best to keep  my children in activities that would help them become good citizens in the future.  I worked full time and cooking dinner at night became a chore instead of a fun thing to do. I do not consider myself a home chef by any means but my kids were healthy and ate dinner every night even if I did not eat.

In my current situation of not being employed, I find myself doing chores before I work on my crochet. I often feel guilty for taking a nap even though my husband does not feel that way at all. He works a factory job for the paycheck and insurance and I am thankful and very appreciative of the work he does for us.

I am thankful to have dishes to wash because that means we had food to eat and enjoy.
I am thankful to have clothes to wash/dry because that means we have clothing to wear and the means to wash/dry our clothes at home.
I am thankful to run the vacuum cleaner because that means we have a home that needs cleaning.

Be thankful in your routine my friends!
Life is not what i expected when I was 15 years old, however, I love my husband and I am content with where I am in my life at 49 years of age.

I trust that God is not surprised by anything we may do or say and he has a plan that we cannot even imagine.

Be thankful in your routine.
Check on your friends
Be kind
and above all else, Love each other!
