Things to ponder...

I am not sure where to start, I have many things on my mind and working on how to communicate them without sounding like I am complaining.

When I first heard the news reports of Coronavirus, I was skeptical and I sure did not imagine the shut downs or the runs on products at the stores or the school closing and all the other things going on.

This all on top of the damage that Middle Tennessee is dealing with after the tornadoes earlier this month. This is a lot to process for all of us.

As for myself, I have COPD/Asthma and I have always tried to stay home if i am not feeling well or have a fever so that I don't risk carrying an illness to anyone else. I do this with vigilance with regards to my friends who are compromised much more than myself.  I consider myself on the comprised list because of my weak respiratory system and therefore I am staying home.

The thing most people don't understand about me is that I cough every day and probably will until I pass from this life. I was diagnosed in 2007 and I take my medication and avoid as many triggers as I possibly can. The general public does not understand my cough and automatically assume that I am at work sick and being selfish.

This past Saturday, I made a list and visited the local grocery store (Kroger's) and while a few shelves were not full to capacity, there were no empty shelves at 11am that day.

I stayed home from Church on Sunday because my coughing spells were very rough and I was exhausted. We had devotion here at home and passed the day together.

The bottom line is I have been unemployed since the end of 2019 when my contract was terminated at my prior position.  I have been on many interviews and taken measures to sell inventory I have on hand.

I want to thank all who have ordered PartyLite candles or Crocheted items in recent months. Your orders were truly appreciated as they helped pay bills in a way I didn't expect 6 months ago. Your kindness and encouragement goes a long way to help me mentally get through the days at home.

I pray we all stay healthy and fare well through this pandemic and that 6 weeks from now we are over it and back to the way of life we are most accustomed to. Much Love and Prayers to all of you.
