Mid-April

Happy Mid-April !! 

I have been very quiet here on the blog and on facebook because I simply don't know what to say.

I am doing my best to stay home as much as possible. I have not left the house in a week or so. I want so badly to go visit my mom and spend the time crocheting. I fear that I would infect my parents unknowingly. 

The isolation is not easy and some days I just want to cry and end up sleeping away the day because it is easier than sitting and staring at the walls when I cannot find anything that interests me on the television. I have gotten bored being at home and I am sure many of you can agree that you feel the same way. 

The constant barrage of news just makes me mentally worse in the middle of all of this. The worst part for me is not knowing who to believe in the middle of this crisis. There was a time I trusted the media, but that has gone by the wayside over the past 3 years. It seems everyone has their own agenda.

I am very thankful that my Pastor shares messages to keep us in the Word and focused on the things that matter as we go through this trying time. Check out Covenant Church on youtube.com to hear Pastor Wes' messages. 

I am thankful that my husband is blessed to be working every day. I know way too many that are completely out of work right now and I truly hate that we are all going through this. 

I have finished a couple of afghans so far while being home-bound and I have a couple others that will probably be completed before we are back to normal.
