Setbacks and Stumbles

We all have setbacks and stumbles (literally or spiritually).

If you stumble physically you may fall to the floor and hurt yourself. If you stumble spiritually, you have to find a way to get back on track.

Sometimes a fall or accident will cause a broken bone or joint or aches and pains.

Currently my mom is in rehab to get her able to walk again after falling and injuring her hip.  Physical Therapy is not for the timid and takes a good dose of determination to get back to where you can get up and down without assistance.

I have chronic back pain that just keeps getting worse. I am not sure exactly what causes it, but when that back spasm hits, I cannot ignore it. I must sit down, take some pain meds or use the heating pad to alleviate the pain.

The point is we learn to cope with pain and it changes our quality of life.

What cripples your life, hopes and dreams? Can you get rid of it? Can you change it or how 'it' affects you and the things you want to accomplish?

I pray you don't have setbacks or stumbles and that your footing is sure. Please stay safe, stay home if possible and wear a mask. We as a country have lost way too many people to COVID-19. It is not a myth! Some have the virus and bounce right back, some have the virus and never make it out of ICU.
