Fall, camping and wishes

Fall has always been my favorite time of year.
It could be because of the crunch of the leaves under my feet, the cooler temperatures or just football season. But no matter, I truly enjoy fall !

I want to go camping and take my grandsons with me (would my daughter would let me do that?)
Nikolai wants to go fishing with Papa (aka David) and asks every time he stays over at the house.

My biggest wish of all is to have my grown kids and their kids all here visiting at once. My daughter lives here, so all I need is the money to fly 5 people to and from Nashville. I haven't seen my son face to face since 2013 and that is really starting to bother me.  I miss him so!

When they were at home, they couldn't wait to grow up and not have me asking them to do chores around the house or clean their room. But oh, what I would give to go back to the house in White Bluff to see Kourtney and Brian as they were then and love them and take more time to listen to them. Times were tough and money was non-existent and I was in a horrible excuse for a marriage, but I had my kids close by and that sure did help me get through the days/nights.

Gosh, I didn't mean to start crying while writing up my thoughts today, but there goes a few tears.
No, I cannot just hop on a plane to go see them and they cannot come here either. So, we depend on technology to see each other, send messages, memes and all of that. It is truly not the same, but it helps until I can see them again.

It is chilly today at work, our heat is not working, there is only the gas fireplace to put a little heat in the air.

There has been so much loss and devastation in Southwest GA and the FL Panhandle, those families I know and the many I will never know, you are all in my prayers. My heart is heavy for all of you.

Another family has a son missing out in AZ and I am praying for them every day as well.

Have a great day, hug your family, hug your friends and don't ever be afraid to say I LOVE YOU!
