I never meant to neglect the blog, but between sickness, lots of stuff going on and just life beating me up, I have not had anything to offer for the blog the past few weeks.
This past week was Halloween and lots of rain here so our leaves are finally falling to the ground which makes it 'crunchy' when we walk.
Our area did not have much more than a bit of rain for Halloween so the kids were able to go out and dress up and have a bit of fun with their families.
With some encouragement from my bosses, I finally went to the doctor for this cough and achy symptoms I have had going on for 2 weeks or more. Turns out I have pleurisy plus some form of bronchitis on top of my normal COPD symptoms. So there is a reason I have felt miserable for a while. I was given a shot and some meds and hoping this gets me back on track.
My sister's baby is due on the 13th and we all have thoughts on whether she will make it to that due date or go sooner. It is all up to Little Oakley I suppose.
Did you turn your clocks back? I am glad the computers and phones turn back on their own through programming. I changed the clock on the oven while my coffee was brewing this morning and it only took a minute to push a couple of buttons. We really are blessed in this age with all the modern conveniences we have at our fingertips.
I choose to spend most of my downtime working on crochet projects for orders, family and charity donations. Here are some photos of my latest projects.
I was unable to attend the Buddy Walk 2018 and my 30th High School reunion, but thanks to facebook, I can see the photos.
I highly suggest you find something you love to do and find a way to give to others through your hobby. This will bless you in ways you cannot imagine.
Be kind to one another, keep your hands to yourself and tell the ones you love how you feel! #communicate #crochet #give #create #love
