Answered Prayers

Today marks a month since my car accident. The pain in my back gets the best of me at times but I am managing it pretty well. I still cannot bend completely over without shooting pains. Between meds, heating pads, rest and cold packs, I am doing pretty well. The outcome of that accident could have been so much worse. I am thankful everyday that it was not any worse.

Today was our 3rd Sunday attending church with David's brother and we keep running into people at this congregation that we know.

Yesterday was a good day because I was able to put a down payment on a car that is new to us and is a lower payment than we had before. Things are working out in ways we didn't expect the day of the accident.

We are working very hard to focus daily and constantly on the things we are thankful for instead of bemoaning the things we are without.

There is a new person at work and so far, I am spending a fair amount of my day training them as I go about my office duties. I am still not sure what job I will end up in the future, but for the time being I am doing my best where I am at currently.

I am working hard nightly to finish several crochet projects that will have new homes eventually. I love seeing all the colors come together and the recipient of the blanket be so happy to receive it.

Do your best to be thankful
