At the Homestead

I have called the house the Parish Homestead since David and I took the house over from his former roommates and made the house our own.

I am feeling pretty good today in spite of all the wheezing and other issues I had last night on the way from work and grocery store.

Hubby fixed dinner, my son re-arranged storage of things in their deep freezer vs. our fridge. Lots of conversations about food were overheard in the kitchen last night.

I actually took the time to prep the coffee pot so it was ready to go this morning to make hot coffee for those of us with a day shift job and I made a batch of tuna salad to bring to work  so I had lunch and would not have to spend money going out to get something.  I talk a lot about doing this but rarely does it all happen.

My morning started before 9 am at work today when a client followed me into the office and I barely got the computers up and going before I was able to assist him with what he needed.

All is well and back to my routine schedule for the day.

I will be having cataract surgery in a few weeks and hopefully that will go off with out any issues.

The cutest thing I saw this morning while getting ready for work, was a certain 3 year old (Kyson) playing peek a boo in my tall clothes hamper I keep in the restroom. He was full of giggles and the word no when I picked him up and got him out of the hamper, I should have taken a photo before getting him out of there.

Pick your moments, enjoy everything as it comes along. The moments are fleeting and the kids they grow up so fast.
