Fridays and the weekend

Do you put off everything for Friday?
Do you have your best days on Fridays?

Why?

Is it because society has made you believe that Friday is the best day because of the general population's work week? Or is it because it is payday and you have a little money to do something fun other than just pay your bills?

I am blessed to have a 9-5 office job right now in my life. But I have worked retail and convenience stores and many other jobs where the day of the week didn't matter, you still had to go to work and the rest of the world had the day off.

I want to encourage you to enjoy each day you are given. Each day can be a blessing if you just open your eyes and see what great things/people you are blessed with.

Sometimes the highlight of a busy morning is hearing a loved one say Have a good day, as I walk out the door. Sometimes the best part of my day is a funny text from a dear friend or my spouse.

I learned long ago that joy is in the little things. And everything is a little thing.

I find the greatest joy in having coffee with a friend and looking/learning a new crochet pattern these days.  In a couple of weeks, I will meet up with friends to share the fall PartyLite catalog to share the new scents for the fall/holiday season. That is always a fun day as well.

Enjoy the day, love the ones around you, call a friend, text another friend and be a friend!!
You never know who needs to hear a kind voice on the phone to make their day a little brighter!!
