Interviews, choices and responsibility

I had an interview last week and today they sent me on-boarding emails full of documents to fill out.
Sadly I had to turn down the job because it pays less than I make in my current job.

The funny part is I had to tell their HR person this 3 times before she understood that I was turning down the job after the interview.

I may dislike my current job right now but it pays the bills and we have a little to live on after the bills are paid. Hubby and I live a simple life that most may see as boring, but it is our happy place and we call the house Parish Place and our safe zone.

Thank you for all the messages, texts, phone calls, gifts, meals, fellowship and laughter yesterday on my birthday.

Choices are hard to make when you see all the people your choices will affect.

The simple act of watching a season premiere of your favorite tv show can cause an uproar when there are others in the home. 

I choose to get up and go to work and be responsible every day.
I choose to tell my spouse I love him every day.
I choose to put up my boundaries and speak up where I have kept quiet before.

I try my best to be kind and not hurt feelings but sometimes I fail miserably at this task.

Have a blessed day everyone and call one person to check on them and text another something to make them smile. I love getting those messages out of the blue from friends near and far.
