Yesterday...

I hope each of you are well during this time of chaos and the COVID-19 Pandemic that is griping our nation and world.

I wanted to pull back the curtain and share "A Day in My Life" with you.

Get Up/Check my phone
Make the coffee/take my meds
turn on music through Pandora app
Morning Devotional
Fix a bite of breakfast
Go over my list for the day
Yesterday I had catalogs to mail out as well as a graduation gift for my bonus daughter Abby Parish.

She graduates this week from Scott's Hill High School in West Tennessee. We are very proud of her. She will be attending Freed-Hardeman in the fall and we have her in our prayers and wish her the best on her new journey.

I received a call from my mom asking a crochet question and told her I would be over there after I dropped things off at the post office.

Everyone at the post office was wearing a mask and they have installed the plexi-glass at every window to keep their employees safe.

I also stopped at Dollar General to get lunch making supplies and ziploc bags of every size (Why do we run out of it all at the same time???).

I spent about an hour at Mom's helping her with her project and getting her going again on her latest project. It is teal and gray and I think it will be beautiful when it is finished. I also think if Nikolai gets a hold of it, she will end up giving it to him very soon.

Then I came home, made a snack, worked on closing out a Pampered Chef Party and took a nap.

I got up around 4 or 4:30 and did a bit of laundry and straightening up and then worked on my granny rectangle afghan.

I had a great conversation with my friend and host Jessica C. and we closed out her Pampered Chef Party while at the same time our husbands walked in the door.  It's a good thing both of them are pretty laid back guys. :)

After finishing that party and getting it submitted, I decided to make spaghetti for dinner and amazingly enough, it turned out pretty good.

After reviewing all of these things, I declared yesterday a good day.

With all the uncertainty in our towns and cities (and the world) currently, it can be hard to focus or find something positive to focus on. I do not watch the news channels or news reports. I only look up the weather to see if a storm is coming our way.

I hope and pray each of you have a great day and treasure the memories you are making during this time. If you need a listening ear, I am here for you.

I hope each of you reading this is safe and healthy during this time (and always). If you are in danger please seek help 1-800-799-7233.
