Sunday nights growing up meant attending worship services wherever Daddy was preaching and often finishing up homework in the car on the way home (I was a procrastinator back then too!)
Sunday nights once I had children of my own were full of making sure laundry was done, was all their homework done and getting myself ready for the workweek as well.
Currently, Sunday nights consist of a quick dinner, cleaning up the kitchen and prepping food for David to take for lunch the next day.
Tonight I have an ice pack on my neck to fight the hot flashes, my hip is hurting and I am finally sitting down to relax a bit now that the house is quiet and all the chores are done.
David (that's my husband in case you are new to my blog) works a 12 hour shift and usually works 3 days and has 2 days off. However, the past 2 months, he has had quite a bit of mandatory overtime and that makes him extra tired. I had hoped he would rest most of the 3 days he was off. He ended up working today as well. I am thankful for his job and pray for his safety at all times.
Yesterday was our online PartyLite conference and we learned about new and returning fragrances coming out in the next few months. Let me just say that if you have been around PartyLite for more than 10 years, I think you will be happy to hear of some of the returning fragrances. I know I am.
I am looking forward to cooler temperatures so that I can enjoy being outside. The muggy, humid weather here in Tennessee keeps me inside most of the time. After a while, it gets very old and I find myself wishing for times when I was younger and the cooler temperatures meant camping.
I hope each of you have a blessed week and work toward your goals as best you can.
I will see you on facebook, instagram and back here soon!
